We got robbed and the manager said it was our fault.Basically that's what happened.6 adults, 2 kids but we paid for 7 adults and 2 kids. $100/adult and $46/kid. Paid just over $1,000.Didn't know about the overcharge until we were on our way out. Told the hostess about the issue, she goes to the manager, comes back and says "'manager can't refund because there's no way of verifying"(Even though our waitress and hosted vouched for us)So we asked to speak the manager, she comes out and doubles down.I'm thinking this isn't a big deal, but manager made it into a HUGE DEAL."I hope you can understand that people sneak in other adults and that's why we can't give you a refund."I told her that she can verify how many were in our party, but just asking the waitress and hostess which she just refused. She said that there is a sign that says all sales are final and that was the leg she was standing on.Long story short, the restaurant came up on our hundred bucks Plus tax. Check the receipt upfront and not at the end because there is no grace from mistakes at this restaurant.Managerial skills are garbage and I feel bad for the employees.

Overall it was blah. We would not go back. $65 a person, groups of six or more have added gratuity so came out to $85 a person or so. Bottomless mimosas were good but Definitely not worth the price. Casino buffet prices, not casino buffet quality. The food was subpar at best. The crab legs were overly fishy, sushi was warm, most things had not much flavor. The potatoes were probably the best thing they had. Service was decent.

So sad this place has gone so far downhill. Paid $100 per person, so this was a $500 (including tax and tip) breakfast with me, my wife, 13 and 16 year old kid. I would have been upset if i'd paid $30/per person. Quality has just cratered. Most of the desserts are store bought, they had a whole tray of hostess mini donuts fron the store. In the fridge they had some ice cream snickers and twix bars. The crab was terrible quality, you couldnt get any solid pieces it just shredded as you opened the shell. The shrimp tasted of ammonia I dont know why they even bother with the mexican food, its just walmart chips and salsa and nacho cheese sauce fron the can. The carne asada was seasoned with only salt, the birria was mostly salt and broth. For beverages, no iced tea, no fruit juices (got a welsch's fake juice bottle) but adults did get mimosas, which over an hour and a half i probably had two for the "endless mimosas". .Lots and lots of cost savings are apparent. Most of the place settings are plastic, its disposable everything so they dont have to pay another dishwasher. Oh and i did get a tap on my should after an hour and twenty minutes that for this $500 breakfast, i have to leave in 10 minutes because were only allowed to stay an hour and a half. Owners should be ashamed at what theyve done to a once great san diego institution.

Came here on a Sunday june 2 2024 made reservations for two people at 11am. Celebrating our wedding anniversary and thought this place would be cool and chill..until this happened. I don't really like writing bad reviews but this was just a must so management can correct this and improve the service.Grace was an amazing server though, she and other bussers were the only ones that showed us kindness, I can't say the same for the rest of the staff. She did everything with a smile on her face and so kindly checked up on us and very tentative . Host and cashier were very rude and very snippy, this is my second time going there and quite frankly probably my last time since the experience didn't go quite well. It isn't worth $65 for mediocre food, they kept running out of food..? I didn't even get a chance to get chilequeles cause they were out, went again the 2nd and 3rd round time they still didn't have any in the tray..? so why is this priced $65 if they are just going to run out of food, they were also short on eggs Benedict? The fried rice did smell a bit funky like it was spoiled rice mixed into the fried rice. The Mahi Mahi great flavor but really dry, salmon didn't look too good sitting out in the open, The champagne is ok. I've had better. And on the website it said if you walk out the door and coming back all you have to do was show the receipt and the ladies up front were very impolite and very rude towards my husband all cause he had to get his medicine in the car and the host and the cashier were giving him a hard time. Our meal was already paid for it wasn't like he was going to be gone for an hour, he had to grab his medicine not that I needed to explain that, they should really train them better minus the attitude. I treat people with kindness and that is exactly what we did and for some reason the staff up front did not like that and had more stuff to say under their breaths. We also felt rushed getting us out of there and cleaning our table when we weren't even done eating, I haven't even had the time to get dessert and they took our glasses of champagne away which honestly killed the mood for us. Mind you my husband and I are celebrating a very special day and it was our wedding anniversary just to have it ruined by rude staff, not a great way to start our day, just put a bad taste on the entire experience. I will be speaking to the manager in charge when I get the chance to call.

Came on a Friday night, which happened to be a first Friday of the month. I was surprised to see a security pat down the gentleman in front of me, but the security guard did not pat us down when I said we're going to the restaurant. The extra security is for the nightclub that happens on just the first Fridays. We arrived perhaps 6:30pm or so, and music inside was already blasting. Just know if you'll be dining on a first Friday that you will hear loud bass from the adjoining space. The decor is definitely entertaining to look at. So many pieces of memorabilia and vintage pieces. I wish I could wander around and look at it all. It almost feels like a museum in a restaurant. The outside and structure of the building itself is unique and gives a rustic feel. Just adds to the experience of the visit. We were greeted by a very friendly host who, upon our request, made sure we got a good window seat when we requested a view of the airstrip. He also immediately brought a kids menu and crayons for our kid.We were served by Laura, who made sure our kid had a paper water cup. For our child, we ordered the grilled cheese with fruit, milk, and rainbow sorbet. The fruits at this time were strawberries, grapes, and watermelon. The meal was well liked.I ordered the Aviator Burger medium well, but it was more well. I would get medium next time. I liked the bacon jam, which brought a nice contrasting sweetness to the burger. I wish the burger didn't have blue cheese or arugula, but that's just my preference. In hindsight, I didn't notice any aioli in the burger, but I wasn't really looking for it. Shoestring fries were indeed very thin and crisp, not too salty.

Came here for my birthday yesterday and I was trying to look for a good bottomless mimosa restaurant. I have seen this restaurant a few times on Yelp but never gave it a chance because of the overall star count they have. And I must say, I was impressed considering the price, service, deliciousness, and location. I enjoyed the theme it had going. Parking is very easy. I would go to their Instagram and see the posts about what they have included. I personally liked the crab legs, prime rib, lamb, sausages, and brownies. They have haagan daz icecream mini's. I was looking forward to the snickers and twix icecream bars but they either ran out Or didnt have any that day. The service was very very friendly. I came a little late so i did not get our servers name. The receipt says Sarah but I don't know if that was our server. The bartender Andrea was very hospitable towards us even though she wasn't our usual server. They are on top of their refills on mimosas and taking plates away. They keep tabs on the freshness of the foods. Everything was delicious I had no complaints. The outdoor patio is dog friendly with good amount of shade and a view of the air strip.

I saw all the bad reviews and was a little worried - but figured the food pictures looked great, and there were lots of good reviews, so we gave it a try. I am so glad we did - this really is an amazing buffet!Let me say that we are very experienced buffet people - we REALLY like them! Of the many we've been to, this one is really up in the top few. Why? First because of the great selection of food items, more than almost any buffet we've been to other than a casino or cruise ship. Crab legs (which were a good size), perfectly cooked shrimp, other cold seafood (including ceviche and sushi), carved meats (lamb and beef), breakfast items (awesome eggs benedict, bacon, etc.), pasta, salads, omelets and burritos made to order, and a TON of desserts (including a freezer with ice cream). Honestly it was so much that we didn't even get to try it all.Have to say that it isn't only quantity of food, but quality. Everything was delicious. Truly for the price, this cannot be beat. The service was great. Plates cleared, drinks refilled, and very friendly. Finally the atmosphere is fantastic - beautiful, very unusual setting that makes you feel you are in a French farmhouse back in the day!We will definitely be back - and highly recommend!!
