These are the absolute best sandwiches I've had in San Diego thus far. Their spreads? Godly. And the staff is always super friendly!! Their ingredients are super fresh and the quality is just glorious. You can tell they put so much care into the food they make P.s. I was going to include a pic of the sandwich but I forgot to take one before I ate it all

I placed a grubhub order during their business hours and walked over to find out they were actually closed.

7 Cafe is a very unassuming spot, and they almost look closed when you walk in because of the way that some of the seats / furniture has been arranged due to the pandemic.We decided to trust the numerous yelp reviews though, and got 2 sandwiches to go for lunch. I got the "dank" sandwich (Sourdough, roasted chicken, bacon, provolone cheese, jalapenos, avocado, honey aioli, pepperochini), which is one of their signature sandwiches. I didn't have very expectations, but I was blown away by the sandwich. It was packed full of fresh and tasty ingredients, and the whole thing was nicely toasted (with probably a healthy serving of butter) to help melt the cheese. The honey aioli gave it some sweetness while the jalapenos and pepperochini gave it a nice touch of acidity. Sandwiches also come with a choice of fries or pasta salad - both are good but the pasta salad is the pick here. Just a really good spot for lunch and I'll be back whenever I am craving a sandwich.

I've worked across the street for 2 years now and for some reason never knew this cafe was here! I stumbled across their yelp page and realized how close they were. I've ordered lunch a few times so far and everything is amazing! Hands down the BEST chorizo burrito I've ever had, and love that they add tater tots! If you are looking for healthier options the chicken ceasar wrap is delicious, and you can turn the "dank" sandwich into a wrap. Its a mom/pop restaurant and the father/daughter who work here are SO sweet! Please be kind to them if your food takes awhile or if they can't answer your call. It's just the 2 of them running the show here.

I enjoyed a nice breakfast bagel from this cafe. I think it was called the Sunrise Bagel which came with scrambled eggs, bacon, avocado, and Pepper Jack cheese, always a great combination, served on a whole wheat bagel. You get a choice of bagel. On the side, came some crispy tater tots.The bacon and the eggs were both well prepared and tasted very good. The avocado was good but not as ripe as it should of been. I really liked the toasted wheat bagel. Good choice on the cheese too.The tots were nice, but they were under seasoned. Actually, I don't think they were seasoned at all. The needed a sauce, so I asked for some house salsa which simple but good. Good food and good service at this place.

On my first visit in 2020 during the pandemic, all safety protocols were observed. I had the meat omelette which is large and in charge. 7 Cafe continues to rank in the top ten breakfasts for me in the big SD.

Had lunch her for the first time today and it was SO GOOD. I got the turkey melt which was delicious but the pasta salad was even better! Absolutely loved it. The service was great too. I will definitely be coming back :)

Got the all meat omelette and pancakes, both were one of the best meals I've had in a while. Way better food compared to other breakfast restaurants. Could tell all of it was freshly made.

got the sourdough breakfast sandwich with bacon and there one only one slice of bacon in the entire sandwich so it's basically just a egg sandwich also asked for lettuce in the sandwich which i didn't get! not worth the long wait it also took to be ready!
