I came here for lunch with some friends since I wanted to eat birria. I was a little confused with ordering but they sit you down and then take your orders instead of up at the front.I enjoyed my quesabirria. The tacos were a bit soggy, but the meat was flavorful and fresh and I honestly didn't mind. It wasn't too overly cheesy either and paired well with the limes.Parking wasn't awful since we just parked in a lot and payed. I believe you can also find street parking as well but it can be tough.

Going to say what everyone complaints about, which is that parking is a DRAG in this area. Ifyou're feeling spontaneous on a busy day, you won't find a spot. That's the only reason that is holding back this business because the food is delicious! I was craving birria from a place that ONLY makes birria. Because every single time I go to a taco shop or Mexican place that has birria, but is not their specialty, it sucks!!! So if birria is what you have in mind, definitely get it from here.I ordered for pickup and by the time I got home, the food was still very hot. So far, this is the best tasting birria I've had in San Diego. It's unfortunate that the location sucks.

Cute restaurant, food was tasty but nothing out of this world, prices are reasonable given the size of the portions, and service was great. Overall solid experience

The quesadilla (corn/flour) were both quite bland without much flavouring on its own. Although the normal taco was quite delicious. The place had limited options on the menu but has a very clean and spacious setting.

I don't know if I've ever written a review like this and I really don't want to. When I walked in I told the waitress and the cook it was my first time there and that I remember the best tacos I ever had coming from TJ and Tecate so these better be good. It looked like a roadside street taco place in Mexico and so I ventured in and even paid 5.95 for the parking in congested Hillcrest. I asked for Chicken or maybe even shrimp tacos but they don't serve those...only Birrieria. Now I've had Birrieria in many places and I really enjoy the slow cooked beef or lamb. It's actually delicious. However when I got my tacos here there was literally NO MEAT! ALL FAT AND GREASE. I ate it because i was very hungry and on the phone the whole time but it was honestly terrible . I thought maybe it was something I had never tried but I will never eat here again. I'm in the restroom multiple times if you know what I mean even as I'm typing this review because I just ate nothing but animal fat. No meat at all. The people seemed friendly and maybe the soups are their specialties but this was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. Sorry but I wish I could give you a better recommendation but I cannot.

Birria was good as usual, beans were way too salty, threw them away, and the service was terrible. Guy behind the counter was super rude and clearly did not want to be there. Love 664 birria but will definitely stick to the other locations.

Love this spot. This one is clean, spacious, & the service is great. I feel like the birria is slightly better at the other locations but the food here still hits!

Hands down the best birria I've ever had. I've been wanting to venture down to Barrio Logan for a while now in search of the best birria and today I believe I have found it. I'm not sure how long this birrieria has been here, but I'm guessing it's been here for quite some time. I half expected to have to wait, but when we got there we were able to park right up front and snagged a table immediately upon walking in. We were provided with a couple of menus and we began contemplating what to eat.I ordered quesabirria and my girlfriend got birria ramen. Everything we ordered came out quickly and perfectly and it was everything I'd hoped it would be. On a side note, the bottle of hot sauce we were given was really good and I couldn't get enough of it on my quesabirria. My girlfriend wasn't able to finish her ramen so we took the rest home, but even after being reheated on the stove it still made for a great dinner. I wouldn't hesitate for a moment to make the trip back down here from north county just for some more birria and I'm excited to come back with my girlfriend's daughter who loves ramen.

Authentic flavors burst through every dish at 664 TJ Birrieria. From the moment you step in, the vibrant atmosphere transports you to the streets of Mexico. The tacos are a must-try, with perfectly seasoned meats and fresh toppings. The enchiladas are rich and flavorful, and don't miss out on the homemade guacamole - it's heavenly. Friendly staff and reasonable prices make this place a gem. A definite recommendation for anyone craving genuine Mexican cuisine.

I'm not sure how many reviews in San Diego it will take me before I stop mentioning the horrendous parking situations. Like others have mentioned, it can be struggle (in most neighborhoods). My brother was visiting and is a huge birria fan, so I tried to look up the best spots. We stopped by for a midday snack and the place was empty. Not too surprising considering it was around 4 pm. Though for an empty establishment, I would expect a higher level of cleanliness. The tables and chairs had grease and food crumbs, made me question whether they wipe down between guests. The menu is simple - they serve birria and menudo. We had a quesabirria, two tacos, and a quesadilla. It was okay. First few bites were better but then the tortillas got soggy. We've had better. Food also made us very thirsty afterwards. There are way too many other options in the area, I don't think I'll be returning.
