First time here and it was very busy with the college football crowd for brunch. You can make reservations the day before and was thankful we did that. Service was kind but because it was busy, it was slow but our food arrived tasty and hot. I have a newborn and was thankful that the tables have plenty of space for a stroller and there is a changing table in the bathroom. Food was delicious and reasonably priced for the portion. There is street parking and I was able to park close but could be hit or miss depending on how busy the area is.

This place is a hidden gem. A small corner spot in green lake holds some of the best diner breakfast in town. We sat at the bar and had great conversations with the owners, all who work the floor there. The food is amazing. Pancakes were light, fluffy, and a little chewy...perfect to share. My rule for chicken fried steak: has to be fork tender, this was amazingly tender and didn't need a knife. The 3 meat scramble had some of the best bacon and sausage I've had. I ordered the potatoes extra crispy, which was the right choice for sure.

This location at the corner of 65th and Latona has been various iterations over time. Usually when I'm in this vicinity, I am always having a hankering for tamales instead. But after driving past 65th Street Cafe and Restaurant a gazillion times, time to pull over and check it out to have a solo hearty brunch (11/10/22). I walked in and was able to seat myself. Usually, I'd opt for the counter but I sat at a four top towards the dining area with the fireplace and lots of natural light. It wasn't busy when I arrived, but definitely the tables were filling up an hour later.I was a low key first time customer - placed my order, stayed with ice water, received my order, ate leisurely, and paid up at the front host stand by the entrance. I didn't have any issue not being checked on. I decided on a major gut bomb for my 11am-ish brunch stop...Chicken Fried Steak with sausage gravy, hash browns, and two eggs over easy ($15). Hash browns and eggs were on point. I received my order in reasonable time and it did the job, patting my buddha stomach at the end. I wasn't going for hipster, overpriced food. The goal was achieved as a local indie with straightforward hearty diner fare. Note: there was one woman who had the task of covering the host stand, seating people, taking orders, bringing food and beverages, bussing tables, and dealing with payments up front, providing coverage for the *entire* dining room and counter. Remember that fact, if service isn't overly chatty and attentive during your visit. I noticed this commentary from other earlier Yelp posts.Food/ambience was a three, extra star for the hard working person covering the entire restaurant/cafe. Plus the person(s) covering the kitchen line deserves some props too. Pro tips: *Street parking is zoned for 1-2 hours. Be mindful where you park and not in a loading zone or bus stop. *During peak time, seat at the counter or two top table. *If you plan to be a group of five or more, give the restaurant a heads up at least 24 hours. This was noted on the receipt. Probably allows for table rearrangements and proper staffing. *Post pandemic - continue to practice patience and kindnessDecent breakfast/brunch and lunch fare based on menu offerings located right smack between Tangletown, Roosevelt, and Green Lake neighborhoods.

Hit the spot for me! The typical diner fare, and all done so well! Hash browns were crispy, eggs were exactly as we asked, and nothing is overly greasy. They have alternative milks for your coffee too. Unpretentious, spacious, and lovely service. My go-to diner for the greenlake area now.

Happy Hour Pizza for $4/slice? Yes, please! This local place has been trying to find an identity beyond being a breakfast spot, and the venture into pizza has been surprisingly good. Ordered a whole pepperoni pie a couple weeks ago, and it was similar to Costco pizza, and I mean that in a good way. Surprisingly large in size, zesty pizza sauce, but with the smaller pepperoni I associate with fancier pizza spots. And the slices are worth it at full price too, but the happy hour is too good to miss! The slices are big!

TLDR: Super low-key diner with comfort food that doesn't make you feel greasy/gross. Owner is super nice Stopped by for brunch and ordered the steak burrito, french toast, and chocolate chip pancakes. The steak burrito was awesome, they finish it on the flat top for a crispy finish and there's no filler inside. It's also huge, I took half home. I enjoyed the sweet options too, and they were affordable compared to other joints in the area. The inside is cute and clean, and the owner was super accommodating to special requests I had, which I really appreciated. Had a wonderful meal and will be back again!

5 stars for food service and ambiance for breakfast and dinner. The pizza option is new and tastes ono! The Spicy Sausage was piping hot and juicy. I had to fold the slice and use a fork to assist for the first bites. Best pizza in Seattle!
