Burger was good, 9/10. Fries were nothing special, 7/10. Overpriced IMO, I do realize food prices are increasing however $18 seems a bit excessive.

Had heard good things about this place but these were the chicken tenders we got as part of our kids meal. We let the lady running the front know and if we could get replacements and she looked as if we were inconveniencing her by asking. A little bit later I heard a timer go off and mentioned to my mom, "I bet they put it in the fryer, set it and forget it which probably works when the oil isnt too hot or old." Sure enough, the second set came out a little less burned but nonetheless burned. When she brought the second set came out she said, "This is pretty much just how they are." and walked away. That literally blew my mind. How rude. Not an, " Im sorry, we cook them blah blah way and thats why its this way." Nothing. The bummer is The burgers and everything else we had was good & I would be willing to come back again if the customer service was better.

Burger Fact: Americans alone consume approximately 50-billion burgers a year. The average American eats a hamburger three times a week!A friend of mine is the biggest 5th Street Burger & Fries fan. After some unrelenting provocation from him to try this place, a group of us decided to grab dinner here for takeout. The first visit was a $90 order. We're talking Nashville hot fries ($5.99), Steakhouse burger with chicken substitute ($12.99 + $1), 5th Street Burger Fries ($13.99), PB & PJ Burger ($11.99), Hawaiian Chicken Sandwich ($11.99), Chili Cheese Burger ($11.99), and a Steakhouse Burger ($12.99). The burgers were pretty decent, but the fries really weren't anything special. Just pass on the fries all together, and you won't be mad. I had the PB & PJ Burger, and while delicious, when comparing it to other PB burgers around town, they're good --- I've just had better. I wouldn't mind ordering this again, but I have my eyes set on the Chili Cheese Burger.Tip: Check your bags before heading out the door. They almost left out one of our burgers, and while the cashier was super apologetic and nice about the whole thing, the cook kept arguing and insisting that the burger should be in there. Just look in the bag. We never even left the property, so no underhand stuff is happening.

Pretty big fan of this casual eatery. They never skimp with their portions and i've never been unsatisfied with anything i've ordered here. Only con is do not get the water here! It's horrifically bad but the food def makes up for it. Just a warning so you're not left parched.

Tried here after reading it as the best burger in Tempe. Great place for takeouts. I loved the peanut butter sliders, and they are the perfect size for something smaller than a whole burger but satisfying the cravings. They were also easier to eat as compared to a whole messy burger. The chicken tenders were good, but maybe because I ordered Nashville hot as a takeout, the tenders were a bit soggy when I ate at home. I also ordered loaded fries once and asked the servers to pack the wet and dry ingredients separately. Everything was packed so nicely, which made the at-home dining experience as good as eating at the restaurant. Will definitely go back soon!

First timers heartily greeted by owner. Order brought to clean table outside. No exaggeration here. Perfect burgers and fries! Toasted buns, fresh high quality red onions, shredded lettuce, pickles and tomatoes. Uniquely delicious and not too tangy bbq sauce with extra on the side. Patty a bit smashed, perfect for ratio to bun. Bacon cooked just right and toasted buns. And yes, gluten free bun for a small up charge. And the fries. Finally, hot, fresh and crispy natural! No coating/batter necessary here. I dipped mine in the bbq sauce. Heaven. Just one order was plenty for two. You'll pay a bit more than the fast food 2 star joints and a lot less than restaurants. Give this place a try. You'll know why this is the place to go for burgers. I'm going to try the hamburger salad next time! Highly recommend! ~EG Eats

I was out running errands on Super Bowl Sunday and decided to check out 5th street to pick up an early supper for the family. Place was busy with customers and online orders. Wasn't sure if it was cause of the day or if they're normally that busy. Anywhoooo.Since it was my first time there, and I have big dietary restrictions, it took me a while to figure out what to pick. The staff was super friendly and the gal at the counter told me to take as much time as i needed, which i did. Though most places that offer burgers have gluten free buns, most GF buns contain potato and rice flour (I have to steer clear of all form of starch...makes eating out so much FUN ((sarcasm)) And is the reason why i don't eat out at restaurants often.). So I ordered The Kid the Tempe burger and The Hubby the spicy western burger. The bacon on both the tempe and the spicy western was not fully cooked. And I decided on the 5th street burger salad, which was nothing to write home about. So this one is a hard pass on returning. And to be honest, I make better burgers at home.

My stomach RSVP'd to 5th St Burgers, what else was I supposed to do? I had to take it there...it's not my fault!Love this place! It's definitely in my top 3 (if not #1) for a burger. It's both quality AND quantity! I got the Tempe and a side of straight cut fries and I'm full and satisfied. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Service is always up to par and they bring your order out to your table. I have nothing but good things to say about this spot. AND the Fear and Loathing art work was icing. On a scale of 1 to 10, this is my fav.

Best burger in town? Might be. Really well balanced and flavorful. Quality ingredients. Bun is perfect. So many places can't figure out the bun. I had The 5th Street Burger it has chopped iceberg lettuce, red onion and tomato sliced thin and thick pickles. It comes with a Thousand Island type spread on the side so you can add the amount you want. I also ordered the cheese fries. Fries were solid. A thicker cut fry halfway between shoestring and steak fries. Cheese sauce I wasn't a fan of. Will definitely be back.
