5th Street Burger & Fries

I recently returned from a visit to Gordon Ramsay's burger place in Las Vegas, and I have to say, this spot completely blew it out of the water! I ordered the All American sandwich with blue cheese and bacon, similar to what I had in Vegas, but the experience here was on another level. The blue cheese was incredibly fresh, and the bacon--wow, it was perfection with the right amount of crisp! The prices were fair, and everyone in our group left completely satisfied with their meal. Everything was just spot on.If this place had a few things on draft and a bit more room, it would be packed nonstop--though it was busy already when we went. Might even stop by tomorrow too! This place has one of the best burgers I've had in a long time! Fries were delicious as well. My husband had the chicken tenders and said they were good as well. There was a group of three who ordered before us, it took 25 minutes for the food to come out, so the wait was long, but the food was good.Tip: take the food to go, with how they have the grills set-up, the whole restaurant gets so hot. It's uncomfortably hot in there. I felt bad for the employees cooking. Hopefully they can stay cool/have fans back there.

First time here wanted to try the pb pj burger but dang the pepper jelly didn't add much to flavor just heat. If I got it again I would just skip it wish they had a sweet jelly mixed with maybe a Lil jalapeño. I couldn't even taste the peanut butter over the jelly. Burger was 6/10 in current configuration wish was exactly as menu states is on it.Waffle fries were crispy, pretty good. I'm not huge on salt but even I knew they needed some salt. 8/10Inside: No AC?? Mixing a hot jelly with a warm inside temperature just makes you sweat. 5/10 especially in summer.I was ready to bring my parents and daughter to try this thinking I found a jewel based on high reviews but won't be back anytime soon I made it halfway through burger I just couldn't get passed the over powering heat and lack of flavor of the jelly.

Another 5th street burger location in Mesa :) I was excited to try here as I really like their original? location in Tempe.Got to try the 5th street burger and chili burger salad style, they were yummy. However, AC was broken this day and it was so hot. Anyways food was as good as their OG location!

Gluten free eater. The atmosphere was nice. Clean but small. Maybe they don't have an AC but they had a swamp cooler on. It was cool but sticky. But it was almost 115 outside. The wait staff was helpful with the menu. I ordered the flaming burger on gluten free with regular fries. My husband got the steakhouse burger with waffle fries. The food came out looking really good. And overall it didn't taste terrible, but it's one of my least favorite burger places. The patties on both burgers were quite salty. The regular fries had seasoned salt and they were salty. The waffle fries had salt but less than the regular fries. I helped finish those. The gluten free bun was good and held together. The cheese sauce unfortunately didn't have a lot of flavor at all. And the Cheeto dust was not spicy at all. I couldn't even taste it. Nothing was bad tasting just flavorless.

Was going to try Big Nates BBQ for lunch but I didn't feel like spending 20+ for lunch today.. Then I saw this burger place and it was close so I thought I give it a try.Little before 11 so only one table so my food was quick. Menu had good selections of food. I decided to go with spicy western burger. You can't go wrong with spicy. Wanted to try the fries so I opted for combo pack. I asked what makes it Nashville hot fries, she said seasoning.. I said meh... I'll try it. Burger looked pretty good. With the onion rings added I literally had to squash my burger so I can eat it.. I mean I tried without it first and I failed.Fries were hot, crispy and the seasoning was better than I expected. Burger... Well..... My first bite I was like hmmmm where is the flavor.. Where is the spice.. I was disappointed to see that they used canned jalapeño instead of fresh. Fresh makes it so much tastier IMO. Over all burger was grilled way I like it. Just under medium.. But it lacked in flavor so many ways. I don't know what constitute this burger western burger, (I know I know the stuff that goes on the burger). It really lacked flavor for me at least. I felt like I was eating just Ole regular burger. Was it bad? No, did I love it for me to say, I can't wait to try the other style of burger? Nooo. I did try the burger with the two sauce that came with it.. One tasted like water down bbq but too sweet for my taste.. Other one. Not bad.. I forgot the name of it. At least fries were pretty good with the seasoning. After spending $21 bux for burger combo I said to myself... Should have could have would have went with my first choice.Oh well, at least I tried something new. This place just wasn't for me.

It's Saturday night and the Yankees have won! So of course, I needed a burger and fries. I had the bacon cheddar burger with bbq aioli.. YUUUUMMMMMM! Let me just say.. you can eat this burger with nothing on it it's seasoned so well. Nevertheless, I had all the fixings . The only reason I gave them a 4 was because the fries were bland, could have used some salt.The service was quick and courteous with smiling faces. This spot had a few tables, and the dining area was clean.

This may be my new go-to burger place!It gets pretty busy here on Saturdays for dinner. They told us it would be a 30-45 min wait, we waited 45 min for our food. Plan accordingly.I ordered the Spicy Western Burger and shared the Sweet Potato Fries with my wife. I devoured it all. The burger had the perfect amount of spice and the sweet potato fries were crispy!The parking lot is small, it shares the lot with numerous restaurants and stores. There is more parking in the back which is accessed at the north and south end of the strip mall.Staff is friendly and professional. There's decent amount of seating inside, and three tables outside.I'll definitely be back!

For such a small little place it packs a big punch in the taste buds! Their burger combinations with sauce pairings are very unique and delicious!! A couple things to note, it's almost hidden behind the large pillars out front and a very small dark blue sign on the front of the building, it's located next to the amo store in the plaza. Seating is very limited, however there are additional spots outside. The burgers come a la carte, fries or other sides are additional. We got the Tempe burger and the steakhouse burger both delicious and taste completely different. We got our order to go and it was nicely packaged and ready for pick up in 15-20 mins, give this place a try next time you're in the mood for a good burger!
