My husband and I made a reservation here, and got there on time. The party at the table before us stayed a little long, so for our wait they offered sausage and cheddar biscuits on the house. They were absolutely delicious! The service was fantastic. The scallops and wagyu were melt in your mouth delicious. The beets were soft and earthy. The best part was the mashed potatoes. They were just so creamy. Also duck wing?!? Hello!! So great. 10/10 recommend. Oh yeah, last but not least... the fried apple pie with ice cream and Carmel sauce?!?!? Holy cow, what a presentation and delight on the palette.

Yes yes yes honey, we loved 5th and Taylor for girls night, would go back on a date night, shoot I would go back on a "take myself out" night; good food is self-care too. First off- ambiance, decor, vibes 10/10Food- nothing I would not order again...everything was so good!-Sausage cheddar biscuits, what a surprising delicious, comfort food delight!-Dinner rolls- delish, love me some fresh baked carbs-beer can chicken - oh my gosh did not think ordering the chicken on the menu would be this memorable. So good, the veggies and the beer gravy -excellent flavor. -I also tried my friend's scallops, very good. -Finally, the crispy brussel sprouts in blood orange- what the what!? What culinary genius came up with this? 10/10Coming back ASAP

From the moment you set foot in the door, you are swept into an environment of peace and relaxation. From the lighting to the decor, the vibe is welcoming and a nice change of pace if you're a tourist looking to get away from the crazy, like we were. The hostess and our server were very sweet and welcoming. There is a quality about the staff that is soothing and calm, encouraging you to stay and savor your time at 5th and Taylor.I didn't see the dinner rolls on the menu, but had read about them online, so I asked. Apparently they were running low, so they were only available on request. Note -- these are not free. But they were AMAZING!! Huge portions and so yummy!! We shared the wedge salad. I'm not sure I loved the charred lettuce, but it was easy enough to eat around. The homemade bleu cheese dressing was scrumptious! We shared the mixed grill (pork tenderloin, tri-tip and lamb sausage). We'd give it a 6/10. The pork was average, the tri-tip was tough and the lamb sausage just wasn't my favorite. The mashed potatoes were a 10/10. So creamy and flavorful... a definite MUST.I was excited to try the brussel sprouts. While the flavor was good, they were mushy and the texture made me want to gag!!The apple pie dessert was also a win. I'm so glad we ordered it!! It's literally the only thing we finished and I wanted to lick the plate when I was done!!Long story, short -- I'd go back again, but I'd definitely try some different options. I had considered the scallops and the quail appetizer and would give them a try!

My wife found this restaurant while we were staying in Nashville and wanted a nice elegant dinner with her parents to celebrate our anniversary. She made reservations for 7pm on a Saturday night. We arrived around 645pm and had a cocktail before being seated. The restaurant was fairly busy and no bar stools were available. After being seated our waiter was very helpful and nice. Biggest complaint about the seating arrangement was the actual seats! If I was designing a restaurant I definitely would pick out larger, more comfortable chairs. Onto the food. We ordered chicken moose paired with a raspberry jam and chicken skin biscuits. Both were fantastic! One of the other appetizers was fresh bread. Now, I would say most restaurants I've gone to fresh bread was always complimentary as soon as you sit down. I thought this was weird but we ended up ordering a loaf to go with dinner and it was super fresh, light, and tasty. For my entree I got the filet. It was approx 8oz although it didn't say that on the menu. The filet was cooked perfectly at medium rare and it came with sautéed onions and a gravy. Family style mashed potatoes came to the table for everyone and they were probably the best mashed potatoes I've ever had. My wife had the beef cheek pot roast. Again, probably the best pot roast I've ever had. Huge chunks of super tender beef. My mother in law had beer can chicken which she said was great. My father in law and his friend both had the meat platter which consisted of lamb sausage, pork tenderloin, and tri tip. They said everything was good except for the tri tip which they said was "tough" and "dry". Overall our dining experience was worth going to and I'd return. 4/5.

Great place for slightly fancier dinner in Germantown, Nashville - especially for groups due to the large space and table setup. The cocktails were playful takes on some classics, the appetizers and entrees didn't disappoint, and the wine was all American. We ordered a bunch of different items (4 appetizers and 4 entrees) and shared them with a group of 5. Personal highlights were the tomato pie, brussels sprouts, and complementary mashed potatoes. The service was super friendly and helpful, but you could tell staff was spread thin as it often took a while to be served, and some drinks were forgotten. The price point is slightly elevated, but worth it.

Everything tasted so delicious. We had a hard time choosing what to start with, because we wanted to try it all. The dill dip with the fritters was to die for, and the acidity to accompaniments of the tuna balanced so nicely. As far as sides go, the mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese were some of the better ones I've had. The fish was cooked perfectly as well. Our server was very friendly and even more attentive. The inside was chic and cute, plants everywhere which I loved. We will be back!!

The food was presented perfectly and absolutely delicious in every way! It was comforting, fresh and beautiful. The server was attentive and helpful without being intrusive. The Ambience was stunning--a rustic feel with beautiful art, plants in building that looked like it used to be some sort of smaller warehouse. I so wish there was a place that where I live in Los Angeles! Down home charm in a hip, sophisticated atmosphere!
