Great place to grab lunch. They have good sandwiches and good salads. I really like their Italian Hoagie and it is often my order of choice. I did recently order the Tuna Nicoise salad and it was really good also. The food seems really fresh and it is a good, quick option for lunch during the work day.

Having lunch today here st 555 Gourmet Deil. And order the lunch special. I'm having a Italian hoagie with the work's and a Sprite soda and plain chips and a side of pickles. I'm so happy that I came back to try they food again as people say always good the second time around. I talk to the Owner/ Manger about the meat on their hoagie and did a good job explain it to Me. The do taste good and looks good also and the stuff is so nice. Keep up the great job!!!Thanks again 555 Gourmet Deil

Food is decent but service remains horrendous. This place really struggles to know how to do business...you can often wait ten or twenty minutes for a simple bagel or coffee.

I like Food Tek. This was one of my lunch spots I went to all the time when I worked for B-101. I usually stuck to their turkey wraps or turkey reubens, but I've heard they make a pretty good cheesesteak.

I ordered a Salmon Club, which I have never seen before on a deli menu, and was willing to give it a shot. Grilled Salmon, avacado, bacon, letuce, tomato, mayo on a multi-grain roll. Sounds good right? Well, it actually WAS pretty tasty! The bread was really good - it must have been a HONEY multi-grain bread because it had a sweetness that complimented the avacado and the salmon well. The thing here is that the roll is not really well suited for a sandwich of this type, and was messy to eat. The other thing is that the salmon is definitely not grilled. If anything, it looks like it may have been poached (or, perhaps more likely, from a frozen filet). However, I am not above eating frozen fish from a in-and-out deli like this and wasn't expecting 5 star restaurant quality anyways. It didn't taste weird, and was seasoned lightly salt and pepper. I enjoyed it. As for the complaints that the space is too small.... it's located in the bottom of an office that was built in the 1960s. What more do you want? From what I could count, there were at least 10 tables, and it was twice the space than what a lot of deli's in Center City have. I live in south Philadelphia, and you could fit both Cosmi's Deli and Sarcone's Bakery inside Food Tek. and still have room to sit. There aren't many staff during lunch from what I could tell, so it's wise to order ahead (which I did, just in case); that might explain why tables might be a little dirty as well. Although getting here is pretty inconvenient if you don't work in the same building, I wanted to give this place a shot (at least now I know how to get here and won't spend another lunch break driving around in circles). I would need to try more of their food here to give it a better rounded review, but for the most part I was pretty happy with what I got. Four stars to give this little place more of a chance. If I am able to order here more often I'll update with another review.

Very friendly and patient, I asked for 7 sandwiches and she was very patient with my order. Nice and friendly people still exist. Highly recommended this place! The sandwiches were delicious by the way!

Found a fly in my salad today. Called back and the owner's wife was not nice about it. She didn't apologize but instead she argued, "impossible!". Well, here's proof! (See photos). Horrible customer service and experience!

The 555 Deli is great for salads, sandwiches, and hoagies. I love the BLT on Multigrain bread, the Italian hoagie and the salads! They also have a variety of breakfast selections. Happy to have this deli near my office.
