We love coming here when the weather is nice as their patio area is amazing. Nothing beats al fresco dining when the sun is out. Recommended Dishes:Tender Steak BitesNorthwest Crab CakesBlackened Salmon SandwichNow they offer live music on some nights! Service is efficient and friendly.

The bad: served water with a silverfish (zygentoma) paddling in it. My arachnophobic daughter noticed it after taking a sip. The not so good: the soup du jour (chicken) was the mushy consistency of soup left simmering all day on a back burner. The crab cakes "bursting with crab" were creamy in the center, an undercooked blend of ingredients.The good: friendly waitress. She smiled sympathetically when showed the zygentoma. But no token of sympathy on the bill.

520 Bar & Grill is a very lively restaurant. The interior is dimly lit, and it is decently loud and busy. We had a reservation for Wednesday dinner, so there was no wait time. It seems like the restaurant was pretty busy, so it might be a good idea to get a reservation in advance. I ordered the 520 Spinach Salad with chicken (blackened or grilled). I personally ordered the grilled chicken, and it was delicious. I've been craving something fresh and light, and this is the perfect dish for that. I also loved the strawberry vinaigrette -- a perfect dressing to make the salad sweet and fresh!

520 Bar & Grill is one of our go to places on the Eastside. It's a bar atmosphere, we usually go because it's casual, quick, and decent food. It's good for drinks before dinner, dinner, and watching sports (but I rarely do that). Haven't done brunch yet though. The staff is always nice. Would recommend a reservation on busier nights like Fridays and Saturdays, but we have been able to get a table pretty easily on less busy days. Their classic margarita did taste like it had too much sour mix, but their seasonal drink, the Main Squeeze - a twist on the margarita, was delicious! We enjoy trying their seasonal drinks, but their classic cocktails are great as well. Steak frites was good quality for a reasonable price.

Was a meat fest when I went for happy hour- maybe 2 other female customers. If that's your vibe, go for it. Staff are really nice. Club soda is free. Decent HH menu, portion is decent for the price.

Lovely sitting outside on the patio on a beautiful day. We sat a while before we could flag down a server to order (I think they were putting up decorations). I had the breakfast burrito. It was pretty good. I was hoping for more beans and other veg, but it was mostly egg and felt kinda heavy. I did really enjoy the couple of bites of chirozo I found in it. The crispy potatoes were delightful. My friend ordered an omelet and requested no peppers or tomatoes. It had tomatoes, which the server noticed as he set it in front of her. He offered to have a new one made, but at that point, we'd both be eating alone. So she just kept it. At least it was a preference and not an allergy.

Such a good vibe! 520 always plays good music and the food is always consistently good. I came here with a group of 7 and was seated quickly. Our food came out fast and it was delicious. I got the Steak Gorgonzola. Steak was cooked perfectly. Wish it was a bigger portion but it's okay.

Love their food, their outside siting area is awesome for brunch, and the service is pretty good!

Good food, great service from PG. The patio was lovely on a warm PNW spring evening. Highly recommend. Especially if PG is your server!
