We have had a hard time finding good Mexican food here in Tennessee. Fortunately, we found 5 Agaves. The food is very good, and they have very good margaritas as well. Most of the servers are pretty friendly and the wait time is not usually very long. It's a casual vibe that has indoor and outdoor seating. We have never had a problem finding parking since they have parking spaces right out front I would recommend checking it out.

I ordered the street tacos and they brought them out for me and my girlfriend. I ordered 6 and she ordered 3! There was an extra plate of three tacos brought out before they gave me mine and they just left them and I thought well whatever I'll just pay for them and take them to go, not a big deal! Well they came back and asked how many I ordered and I told them 6 and there was 3 extras and they took them.......walked around the corner and then took them to the table across from me! After they had been sat down at my table and quite honestly I did touch them to see what kind they were. After the tacos were not good at all and the waitres kept putting her entire palm over the lid of my cup instead of picking it up normally. I used to eat here a good bit but after that I am done!! You should always throw away food you already sat down with someone......NOT GIVE IT TO THE TABLE BESIDE ME

This is really a 4.5 star review. We came here based on the Yelp reviews, and were pleased with our experience.The frozen margarita was refreshing, a perfect blend of lime and salt, and a happy hour price! Hubby ordered his usual unsweetened tea with lots of lemon. The Shrimp Enchiladas caught my eye while Hubby had the Chimichanga with rice and beans. Unfortunately I forgot to take photos of the food. There were plenty of shrimp in the enchilada and it was tasty. We enjoyed our food and will consider returning when we are in the area.

Very little stands between a Agaves and a 5th star. Food is great! Some amazing touches- and the service is 5-star! Nice seating inside- quaint. Details that would bring it to perfection- homemade tortillas.. and fresh squeeze lime for the margaritas. Definitely recommend!

Our favorite Mexican place in OH/hermitage area. The best place for a cheap impromptu date night. Great deals on margs as well as authentic tacos. The smoked bbq and chicken tacos are . I even had them cater my birthday party killer place and great food

The kitchen is THROUGH the bathroom!! There is no way this place passes health inspections. Inside smells like you are sitting in the bathroom. The drinks are if you are at a high school party, cheap alcohol and some food coloring. I've had better mexican food on the streets of Canada. If individuals are giving this five stars, their bar is very very low. There is no way someone paying 80,000 a year membership to play golf is going to leave the clubhouse and eat here afterwards. Best thing to do is tear it down and build again.
