Came for a gala/auction event and was surprised to learn about this venue. There aren't a lot of venues downtown and this is a nice one. Almost 5,000 sq feet of open space great for banquets up to 200 people. The feel is industrial with very high ceilings, lots of concrete and wood beams. The event we attended used the front section for registration, bar and silent auction. The back section was setup for dinner and show with three rows of long wooden tables and chairs. The setup was beautiful and the decor helped soften the industrial feel of the space. Parking is limited to about 25 cars, but there are additional parking around the corner.

Came here for the ADDY Awards. This is small little venue in South Lake Union. NOT Westlake Seattle as a lot of people might get confused with. There's a lot of wood and concrete structure in the ambiance. I imagine this place is more suited for a wedding reception or small business conference than anything else. Maybe it'd be good for a homecoming dance.Would I book it for any of my events? Only if I was looking for something some conservative and kosher.

415 Westlake is a stunning event space. Perfect for movie screenings, weddings, corporate events, and more. I've come here a few times now for various events and am amazed at the flexibility of the space. It's somewhat industrial look with concrete floors and white walls helps the space look rather blank. Adding pops of color through furniture, flowers, balloons and candles can transform this space into just about anything you could need.I've seen a wedding here for 100+ folks and I've also been to a movie event for 250 people. It's a large space and the venue has access to chairs, lighting equipment and various other items people require when hosting large scale events.Definitely on my list of places to see when I finally get around to looking at wedding venues for myself. I've even recommended it to friends.

My fiance and I viewed the space at 415 Westlake and thought it would be perfect for our combined ceremony and reception. However, the management was adamant that we could not hold a ceremony there and insisted that their policy of receptions only had no exceptions, even though this was a new policy and combined ceremonies and receptions had been conducted there shortly before. A clear reasoning was not provided and my heart was broken when we decided to look to other options. For those looking to host their reception or a corporate event - I found the following to be great: - Venue was modern and airy, with gorgeous exposed beams and a grid wall that would be easily decorated with tealight candles - Two large rooms separated by the kitchen and bathrooms promoted good flow - SLU location with plenty of street parking and a smaller private lot - Space came with a number of round tables and white wooden chairs - Space could come with the AV (screen, projector, mic), though the projector was not working properly when we came to visit - Could use any registered caterer and bring in own liquor Downsides:- Obviously, the no ceremonies policy (minus 2 stars). I still do not understand their policy - it's a 20 minute non-denominational marriage ceremony, not like we're conducting human sacrifices!- Management was unresponsive or slow to email and initial email responses were curt and unhelpful. Though our in person meeting was great and informative and communicating over the phone was better, I was concerned that the site manager was too stressed and would not be the most attentive to our needs. - Bathrooms were on the small side, basic (three stalls, concrete floors, and glass bowl sinks) and felt "sterile." This is nitpickiness, sure, but for my wedding, I'm all about the details.

I recently coordinated a wedding at 415 Westlake and loved the space! It had everything the couple needed to host a beautiful day, from a well-provisioned kitchen to plenty of room for dancing. I also greatly enjoyed working with the staff; Theo and Heather were particularly fabulous, tirelessly working to make sure the wedding went off without a hitch. Thanks to everyone at 415 and hope to work with you again soon!

Had my wedding reception here over the summer and it was awesome. Brad was super helpful in setting everything up for us and providing recommendations based on our style. The location is unique. Industrial feeling with a coffee shop in front. What?! Yes...it has a coffee shop in front of the location, which is pretty awesome. We used the coffee shop and seating for our cocktail hour and setup a photobooth there too. The guests were impressed with the location, setup, and ambiance of 415 Westlake.I would recommend this place for future events!

We had our wedding and reception at 415 Westlake and it couldn't have been better. the exposed beams and wood floor are totally our style and once we hung large white paper lanterns from the beams, it made a big space into a beautiful open venue that felt very comfortable and lovely., The cafe was perfect for folks who wanted to sit in a living room kind of space and talk. and the main room was stunning for the ceremony and the reception. It was a perfect temperature and the extra lighting details we rented made it quite a dance floor. According to the caterer, the kitchen was dreamy and a nice place to work from and since it is brand new, they were thrilled with the equipment.

Went to a charity auction here. The place has a pretty nice airy feel to it. The main event room looks sort of like a well lit school gym. The main lobby has nice couches for sitting and shmoozing. One big issue here is the sound. It's very barny and the sound tends to bounce off all the walls. I would think this would be better suited to charity and professional events and less suited to personal events like weddings. It was certainly far more elegant and pleasant than the church the auction has used in the past.

I contacted Delynn to consider renting out 415 Westlake for a corporate event. She was great to work with, gave excellent, thorough information on the venue and was happy to hold the date we were interested in until a decision was made.Although we decided to book our event elsewhere, it was a pleasure to work with her. I'm definitely holding onto the information she gave me for booking an event here, corporate or personal, in the future. One can book out the space of the cafe as well if needed. They will also add their cafe's barista service to your event for a small fee. There's a small parking lot that is right nearby to use which is really helpful in this neck of the woods where parking is space. The space itself is a big concrete slab with concrete walls but they have all of the tables and chairs, a grand piano to rent, and the price is great along with the ability to have catering come in from outside and decorate the space as you see fit.
