23rd Ave Brewery

The vibes in this shop is so welcoming I enjoy going and picking up a six pack ever Friday and saying hello to a friendly face.

We were looking for breweries in the area and found 23rd Ave Brewery. I'm so glad we found them! James, one of the owners, was there and was so friendly and inviting. He told us about the beers and his business. They have some TVs so you can watch games if they're on. It's a small space but they make the best of it and have seating for around 5 parties. The beers we tried were really good. We'll definitely be back!

Amazing micro brewery run by 3 brothers born and raised in the CD! The atmosphere is welcoming with a fun vibe, and the beer is always delicious. No matter which brother is working behind the bar, you're sure to leave with a smile.

This brewery seems widely popular according to their Instagram posts about selling out of their product so when I had a chance earlier this summer I walked over to their neighborhood to purchase some of their beer.A few things to know. Opening hours at this point are Friday and Saturday only so plan for that and also where the shop is located there is no taproom. So it's oriented more towards carry out purchases.Staff was super friendly so that's always good!From my understanding product selection changes week to week or varies slightly so that is also something to bear in mind.For my purchase I got their Ananas IPA which was a pineapple flavored IPA. The flavor itself was not bad at all. But the beer was very flat. There was no carbonation at all to it and it wasn't an intended feature for the beer. Poking around on Google and Untapped comments and reviews state that other types of this brewery's beers also have no carbonation so it wasn't just the beer I purchased. I know there is the cask beer style where the beer is purposely to have no carbonation but nowhere in the description of the breweries website does it describe that they are a cask style brewery.

Pepper Peach is my fav. Stopped by a few times on the way home and staff is always great!
