Spicy Singapore Street noodles
Their Pad Thai is Lo mein with kind of a Pad-Thai/Tamarind sauce with a bit of a unpleasant after taste.

Not your traditional Chinese restaurant for sure. It's a hidden gem behind the neighborhood bar/convenience store facade. You would not think there was Chinese food cooked behind the bar. Good location in South Philly. Perfect before or after a night game (open til midnight); you can grab a beer or 6-pack to go with the midnight feast without driving all the way down to Chinatown. BTW, 3 TVs were in the bar if you wanna eat there during the game.Sis has been here before, but doesn't get as much food when stopping by herself. We weren't too familiar with online ordering, so we ordered in person. Tonight, we three musketeers each picked 2 items (to go). We each loved our respective #1 choices. (Number 2 choices were good too, but our individual favorites were GOOD.) Sis loved her beloved House Special Soup, with a mix of veggies and meats/shrimp. My fiance chowed his beef with mixed veggies with gusto (likely similar to beef with broccoli but with mixed veggies (peppers, mushrooms, carrots, broccoli, etc.) My curry chicken was YUM (madras curry with perfect amount of spice for me (you can request more or less spice to your taste.) White rice was perfect for my curry. Also enjoyed my haw fun (thick rice noodles). Also had fried rice for a couple of the other dishes, nice yellow (maybe tumeric ?) instead of dark soy saucy rice. Everything was well flavored, not too salty or spicy. No pictures, we were too hungry to take pictures.

Besides the belligerent bartenders and terrible atmosphere, this place is extremely dangerous.Nestled in a back corner of Snyder Ave., The clientele and the staff boasts an extremely unique attitude.Anyone considering dining here may encounter a host of different dangers. This is the absolute worst place to go if you want to sit down and enjoy a nice meal. You could be harassed by any number of people, we sat down and had a meal and were asked to pay the bill before we even finished the meal. They sell blunt wraps and condoms. This should clue you in to the quality of establishment.Avoid at all costs.

I just love this place. The first few times we went it was just for take out - their food is good old Chinese takeout, it's yummy and comforting. I was so happy to see Pizza Rolls on their menu, I don't see that too often and it's one of my favorite things to eat! They also have a wide variety of take out beers, smokes, etc that have come in clutch more than a few times. Standard beers along with random finds (Not Your Mother's Strawberry Rhubarb Pie is a gem). After a while we decided to check out the bar - we ventured through the door and what a pleasant surprise. The bartenders are totally welcoming and cool and they always remember us! I do remember thinking that their liquor choices were a little limited, but I don't come here for a fancy drink - I come here for City Wides, pizza rolls, good music, good fun, and sometimes karaoke. Love this place.

This was, in my humble opinion, the worst Wonton Soup that I have ever had. The only thing more insipid than the soup was the actual dumpling and filling. It was akin to eating sawdust. It just had NO flavor!

**VEGETARIANS BEWARE**My girlfriend and I used to order vegetarian items from here all the time. We will never be going back again. This past time that we ordered, we got General Tso's vegetable protein and Sesame Tofu both with vegetable lo mein. As we were eating, my girlfriend found a CHICKEN BONE in the lo mein. There is no excuse for that. Beware, their food is not really vegetarian at all and is all probably cooked together with meat. It toon us days of fighting with the restaurant before they would issue a refund. This used to be our favorite local Chinese food place, but we will NEVER order from here again. They shouldn't even be allowed to advertise that they sell vegetarian items, because it most certainly is not.

Only ordered pick up once so this is only based on that one dish. Do not order Pad Thai unless you are ok with Lo mein with kind of a Pad-Thai sauce. To me, the rice noodles are the main part of what I love about Pad Thai. I was disappointed. The sort-of tamarind sauce also had a bit of an unpleasant after taste. Don't think I would be trying another dish from this place.

The food was super fresh, tons of vegan options and the portions are large enough for two meals. Definitely the best hole in the wall spot in S Philly. Will be returning!

It is one of my favorite spots. The food is fantastic, the bartenders are friendly and welcoming! It is convenient, comfortable and fun!I love the wings and sesame chicken! I also go for karaoke! I can't wait until they open to eat /drink in! Right now, it's mask only and social distancing. I was impressed that the staff are masked and gloved, hand sanitizer is at the ready, and only 2 people are allowed in at one time.
