12 South Taproom & Grill

Good Mexican food at decent prices and great service. They have a happy hour Sunday brunch, however the mimosa, IMO, had a weird taste. The ribeye quesadilla and Caesar saladwere good. Also, only in the south--if you sit outside you have this cool fly repellent fan.

Food was so flavorful and delicious! Tip: if parking there, go in and scan their QR code to get free parking. Don't pay first in the app. We had the civiche and it was delicious! Mac and Gouda so good! Jalapeño patty melt hit the spot with a kick.

We went on a Saturday night around 7 to sit at the bar and watch football and it was great. Got right in, had great service, and enjoyed chill vibes. I ordered the Tom & Geri cocktail and it was a 10/10! Very refreshing, sweet and sour! My boyfriend got the Kentucky Bourbon Ale and loved it!

Food was just OK. Atmosphere was just OK. Service was just OK. Nothing really stood out to me unfortunately. I would return to see if my opinion changes. I will say the food was overpriced for the quality.

We stopped by the Taproom with our son and daughter-in-law following a show at Zanies. The Taproom was not very busy - we were seated right away and the server, Michael T., brought us water and took our drink order. He was very helpful in helping us select the type beer we were in the mood for and even brought out some samples to help my wife make her decision. We order some different bar-food appetizers and they were great! Overall a great experience. There was a great selection of beer and the food menu was very good with a number of different dishes.I would recommend the Taproom and would be happy to visit again, the next time we are in town.

Friendly and fast bar service! Blood Mary wasn't great but wasn't too bad either... their IPA selections is great! Didn't try food. Perfect place to grab a drink while your brunch reservation calls you back!

You can find 12 South Taproom & Grill at 2318 12th Ave S, Nashville, TN 37204. There's limited parking out front and if you're lucky, something available on side-streets nearby. This is a popular area on weekends so good luck, might be better to park in a nearby free lot and uber the short distance to the restaurant.We hit 12 South for a meal between breweries - we got lucky as there wasn't much of a wait to be seated (the first time we tried it wasn't open so some of the photos I took make it look abandoned from the outside). I think the owners were going for more of a diner feel to the interior - there are several tables in rows and along walls that are fairly well spaced, important during a pandemic (not that most in attendance cared, also the staff was masked). I thought the food we tried was good - I had a burrito with a side salad - the latter contained mixed field greens with pico poured on top so not what I'd call dedicated, but it was exactly what I need after a day of hard drinking. I liked the grilled bread on the sandwich. The wedge potato's were like-warm at best. Service was decent with fairly attentive servers but it did take a while for the food to hit the table, we were able to get our checks relatively quickly. In all a good experience.

Love the Taproom, good food, relaxed atmosphere, great beer list, friendly service - it's our neighborhood go to.

Great food in 12 South! Tilapia tacos were awesome. We sat outside and it was a perfect evening on the patio.

First time there. Tuesday night beer special is great. Dawson was a great server. Rueben was good. Only feedback would be to have normal fries have an option- not a huge fan of the potato wedges. We will definitely return.
