101 Club at 101 E. Erie, boasting three event spaces: the 101 Club Patio, the 20th floor restaurant the 101 Club, and the rooftop deck Sky Terrace. It has such amazing views, cocktails, apps and more! Check them out!!

The location just west of Michigan Avenue at Rush & Erie is a plus, as the patio sitting is set back from the side walk and street with an additional buffer of evergreen topiaries amongst the large colonnade give all a secluded atmosphere. But I set inside for Happy Hour, 4-6, at the handsome bar for a glass of white wine and lamb hummus. The wine was the sommelier's pick & the humus was so savory. The bartender & staff were on mark . Live music of jazz & standards starts at 6pm. When I return next time with friends for a lovely al fresco experience we are sure to linger....

On the 21st floor, this new rooftop is opening this Friday. An awesome selection of drinks, food, and brunch items. The seating is ample and many cushion seats. There's a Mexican taco bar, which sounds delicious. The staff are very friendly. The drinks are generous. There's a cozy fireplace for the winter. The 20th floor dining is not opening until the fall, but the event meeting rooms will be available for rent.

Came here for their soft opening. The menu is a pretty good selection of your typical Mediterranean foods. The service was excellent, however, the food was just okay. Nothing really stood out to me and a lot of the dishes lacked flavor. The octopus appetizer has a lot of potential, but all I could taste was char. The swordfish kebabs were underseasoned. The swordfish sandwich was better, but not great. Something is missing in the swordfish marinade for sure. The highlights were the tabbouleh and chicken kebabs. The tabbouleh was very fresh and actually had a lot of flavor. The chicken had a nice char to it, but I could still taste the other flavors! And the sauces that come with the chicken kebabs were great. Would I return? I'm not sure.

The location of 101 club can't be beat. Just off the Mag Mile, this new dining concept has something for everyone - outdoor seating/patio area, happy hour drinks, and an elevated (literally) bar/restaurant on an upper floor. I ventured here last Wednesday for happy hour (4pm- 6pm). I took a seat at the bar and was immediately offered water along with food and drink menus. I went with the martini (Stoli vodka, slightly dirty) and was pleased with my selection. Other happy hour options include a margarita, beer and wine selections. As to the food, I would categorize the menu as globally inspired, tilting toward Mediterranean and Italian influences. There are also the standard burgers/salads/sandwiches, etc. I felt relaxed sipping my drink in pleasant, new, and clean surroundings. For those who have been around the area for a while, this was previously the location of the Conrad Hotel. I'm pleased to see this first-floor restaurant space being maximized and look forward to returning to check out more drinks as well as brunch and all-day dining options.

Stopped in without reservation and was seated very quickly. When in downtown Chicago, this place has a great dining atmosphere with great appetizers.

Ahh! This used to be IL Tavolino, remember that? This is from the folks behind Roanoke restaurant which is located downtown. The staff and service is bodacious.

Aoife was spectacular, gave us the best service I have had in the longest time. I will be back and tell my friends. This place is amazing but the service was impeccable. I watched her and she was taking care of all the guests. In the service industry I might steal her ! Kelly and Carolynn behind the bar were also lovely and accommodating to us.

If you thought the views and food were good, just wait until you meet Aoife...SHE'S JUST THE BEST! She made it all look easy and made a point to always come over and create friendly touch points while she was juggling all the other guests at other tables. Memorable experience and I'm definitely bringing others back because of her!
