I will start out by saying that the bathroom was a RELIGIOUS experience. Oh my goodness. It was so relaxing. This place restaurant is so aesthetically pleasing and the bathroom just added to that. Our table was comfortable and the live plants made it feel like an oasis. The food was great, as well. I loved having a gluten free waffle that was DELICIOUS. Finally, our server, Hector, was absolutely fantastic.

I got scallops for an appetizer and salmon for my meal. The portions were pretty big and the brussel sprouts were good. The service was fine, they took their time but that was ok since we weren't in a rush and just hanging out. The ambiance was pretty nice, lots of fluffy pillows on the bench by the bar that you could sit in.I would have preferred less gravy sauce poured over my food but overall the place was pretty good. I liked the hotel also.

Really really liked this please. Had it twice for lunch since we were working a conference upstairs. The first time, I had he 1 burger. Wow, perfect. Everything from the buns, smash burgers, and sauces. Delicious. I would say the fries were underwhelming but nothing bad. Just need salt or ketchup. Second time I had the crispy shrimp pasta. That was the best pesto sauce I have ever had. The shrimp also had the perfect crunchy seasoning. Mmmm must order this if you want pasta. It was so good.The vibe is chill and kinda rainforest like. Service was slow.

Great place to celebrate a birthday dinner! Staff are prompt and kind and food was delicious!

Met some friends to have appetizers here. The charcuterie board was amazing. Delicious variety of cheeses. The Kampachi was a bit salty and fatty but the atmosphere more than makes up for it.

Was looking for a place for brunch after participating in a 5k downtown on a Saturday morning and 1 Kitchen popped up on resy with lots of reservations available. I made a reservation for 12pm, but we ended up coming and hour early and were able to be seated no problem. I was a little worried this place would be too fancy for us to stop by after since we were definitely not dressed for a nice brunch, but I was pleasantly surprised that the atmosphere here was really casual. I started out with a caramel iced latte which was really good - i'm not normally a caramel person, but this one didn't have the overly sweet artificial taste. I ordered the burger and fries for my entree. I mean this in the most complimentary way, but both it tasted like an upscale McDonalds meal. The fries were hot and perfectly salted. The burger has two thin patties that were juicy and flavorful with pickles, pimento cheese, lettuce, and a thick tomato. For me it really hit the spot and for a burger downtown the $17 price didn't sound too bad to me. My friend got the BELT and also enjoyed it although she said the egg made it a bit soggy. I was pleasantly surprised by the prices of the menu here overall. I have been to the rooftop a few times and you definitely pay for the luxury bar experience, so I didn't expect the restaurant menu pricing to be on par if not cheaper than other brunch spots in the area. They also have a $35 endless mimosa special which I will be coming back to try another day! All in all, great vibes, quick and efficient service, and good food!

It was a beautiful July morning - not yet the hot and humid day we would later see - so we decided to sit on the patio. Just like the rest of the hotel, the patio was full of plants and just as relaxing as could be. The restaurant was nearly empty and we were seated and greeted immediately. We had our coffee almost instantaneously and were ready to order. I ordered the oat cakes while the hubs splurged and ordered the Bear Creek Farm's steak and eggs ($30, yikes). Two large oatcakes (think gluten free pancakes made with oats) accompanied by fresh berries and whipped cream. They were also covered in toasted coconut. Now I REALLY like coconut but there was just too much. I tried to scrape some off but I was just making a mess of my cakes. With the exception of the coconut, the cakes were delicious. I would definitely order them again. Even though my husband's steak was relatively thin, it was cooked to a perfect medium. It was tender, juicy and really good. He also had two perfectly cooked sunny side up eggs and a plate full of potatoes (disappointing consider the tastiness of the rest).We enjoyed our leisurely breakfast and then got ready for a crazy day filled with the sights, sounds and scents of Nashville.

Today we had brunch at 1 Kitchen. The ambiance is upscale casual; we wanted to love it and possibly make it a recurring brunch place.The restaurant was not busy, we had a nice table on the edge of the patio but still inside- best of both seating areas. Our server was very nice but the food took a long time and our coffees and waters were not refilled. The service was inexplicably poor since the restaurant was slow. The food, a BELT and a couple of 1 Kitchen omelettes with sides were just okay. The bill with tip was hundred dollars, which was completely reasonable. When booking the reservation, I indicated we were celebrating a birthday, but it was never acknowledged by our server and we didn't push it for a birthday dessert; however, it felt overlooked.

Great service, lovely atmosphere, good food. I had the BELT; he had chicken and waffles. The music was not too loud. Nice morning vibe for brunch.

The risotto and the scallops were both delicious! We popped in on our anniversary and the staff hand wrote and signed a very nice card for us, which was such a thoughtful surprise!
